Lauren Bourne, often referred to as LB, grew up in Roswell. After attending college at Auburn University she decided to take her career in a different direction. Enrolling at Chattahoochee Technical College was a defining moment in her career. That is where she fell in love with the hair industry and graduated top of her class in Cosmetology. Soon after she graduated she obtained her Master Cosmetology License for the state of Georgia.

LB then went to work for Vidal Sassoon in Atlanta. This was the foundation for building her skill set and creative aspiration. She received intense advanced education at Sassoon specializing in cutting. Successfully completing several components of Sassoon’s training program she went on to further educate herself in more aspects of the hair industry.

In August 2006, LB transferred to Soda Salon. At Soda she was able to focus on other hair services that included cut, color, up-dos, styling, makeup, and facial waxing. LB excelled through Soda’s Protégé program in three short months and has been a stylist at Soda since July 2007. She is well equip with a unique skill set to understand and educate her clients on a daily basis. With the way she approaches the individual needs of her clients, they are able to walk out of Soda feeling confident, happy, and stylish.

She has broadened her education at Soda through internal salon educators as well as attending outside education. Other experience and training include, Kerastase, Redken, Davines, Nioxn, Wella, Pivot Point, TIGI, Pravana, and L’Oreal Professional. As LB moves forward she continually seeks further education to excel and expand her knowledge and career.
